WindWise is not an advocacy curriculum; the activities utilize unbiased, scientific data, case studies, and scenarios. While teaching core subjects such as physics, technology, earth science, math, economics, social studies, and language arts, WindWise answers key questions such as "where is it windy in the US?", "which wind turbine blades work best?", and "how are birds impacted by wind turbines?".
Windwise is available to teachers nationwide.

WindWise Education is produced by a partnership of the KidWind Project and Pandion Systems, Inc.
KidWind was one of the first developers of wind lessons and wind educational kits for teachers and has established itself as a leader in wind energy education.
Pandion specializes in wind-wildlife interactions. Pandion's team of ecologists, biologists, and educators has designed and implemented several environmental curricula and teacher training programs.
The combined expertise of KidWind and Pandion has resulted in a one-of-a-kind wind energy program for educators, schools and school districts.
Development of WindWise Education is funded by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. The initial WindWise program is being created for NYSERDA to provide wind curriculum and teacher training in New York State as part of the School Power... Naturally program. WindWise Education is very thankful for NYSERDA's support.
