The Future of Wind

Today's youth are tomorrow's decision makers, planners, scientists, technicians and ecologists. By educating students (and their families), WindWise helps communities understand wind energy from a scientific perspective, prompting them to make informed decisions about future energy resources.

Network of Sponsors

Sponsors support WindWise because it is thoughtful, creative and unbiased wind energy education. Join a growing network of sponsors including wind developers, utility companies, school districts, and non-profits.

Why become a WindWise Sponsor?

Sponsoring educators is a great way to get the message of wind into the community. By educating students and their educators, WindWise also helps to engage a large part of the local community to consider wind energy from a scientific perspective and prompt them to make informed decisions about energy resources.

How do I become a WindWise Sponsor?

Sponsor a Teacher Training
WindWise provides 1-day hands on training sessions for teachers within a local community. Participating teachers get a curriculum notebook and corresponding turbine kit. By sponsoring a training, you provide a group of teachers with the information and tools to teach WindWise to their students for years to come.

Sponsor the WindWise Schools Network
Sponsor a whole community or school district through comprehensive curriculum distribution and training.

Sponsor a WindMaster
WindMasters are superior educators chosen through an application process to attend a week long intensive wind energy education training. Graduates are able to teach WindWise Education workshops in their area and represent WindWise at conferences and events.

Purchase Curriculum and Lab Materials
Provide educators with high quality interdisciplinary lessons and activities about wind energy.

Sponsor New Products
Support the development of new WindWise products that address relevant, local and current issues. Sponsor the creation of supplemental lesson modules or help us to customize the existing curriculum materials to different states or regions.
